Indigo LEGO Make & Take 2026: Kids Build a LEGO Christmas Ornament (Nov 14, Metro Vancouver)

Reserve now: Spots are limited (45 per session), and you need a reservation for each child building an ornament. Book at ticketscene.ca/series/1746 (linked from indigo.ca’s event page).

Got a little builder at home? On Saturday, November 14, Indigo and Chapters stores across Canada are running a LEGO® Make & Take. There’s a festive storytime, then each child builds a LEGO Christmas ornament to take home for the tree. Indigo says kids can also “dream up your ultimate Christmas wishlist” while they’re there. Six Metro Vancouver stores are taking part.

Parent Tips

  • Book early. Each session has room for 45 kids, and a few stores elsewhere in Canada already show sold-out sessions.
  • Get there early. Doors open 30 minutes before the start time. Weekend mall parking at Metrotown, Park Royal and Coquitlam Centre fills fast in November.
  • Plan to stay. Every child has to come with an adult, so this isn’t a drop-off.
  • Under 6? This one is ages 6+. A younger sibling can come along with you, but they don’t get to build an ornament.
  • Use the gift card on the spot. Let kids pick a holiday book or stocking stuffer with their $5 card.
  • Make a day of it:
  • Indigo Robson: the Vancouver Christmas Market (Jack Poole Plaza) opens Nov 16, so it’s not open yet on the 14th. Grab a hot chocolate and walk the downtown window displays instead.
  • Indigo Grandview Corners (Surrey): Bear Creek Lights runs until Nov 20 (5 to 9 p.m., free timed tickets). Pair a morning build with an evening light walk. See our Bear Creek Lights post.
