Hi there, kiddos! It’s Big Sis Aris! Today we’re answering a sweet-and-tangy question — why do we have cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving?

Have you guys ever tried turkey with a spoonful of shiny, ruby-red sauce on top? mmm… slurp! Imagine that delicious roasted turkey meeting the zippy, fruity cranberry sauce — it’s like they’re playing a fun “flavor match-up game!”

You know what? Cranberry sauce actually makes turkey taste even better! Sometimes turkey meat can be a little dry, but when you add that smooth, juicy sauce — splash! — it turns soft, moist, and extra tasty, like putting a sparkly coat on your food!

And here’s a fun secret — that bright red color makes the Thanksgiving table look beautiful! Just like poinsettias at Christmas, cranberry sauce adds that perfect pop of red that makes everything look cheerful and festive. It even makes the family dinner photos look amazing! click!
