Hi there, kiddos! It’s Big Sis Aris! Today we’re answering a super yummy question — why do people put stuffing inside the turkey when they roast it? 🦃✨

Have you guys ever seen Mom do her kitchen magic, tucking delicious stuffing right into the turkey’s tummy? whoosh! Just imagine — that stuffing is like a cozy little heat pack for the turkey, keeping it warm and toasty from the inside out!

You know what? Stuffing actually helps the turkey cook more evenly! It’s kind of like when you tuck your hands into your pockets to stay warm — the stuffing sits inside the turkey and sizzle sizzle! — it soaks up heat, helping the inside cook at the same time as the outside. That way, the skin gets golden and crispy without the middle staying raw!

And here’s a tasty secret — the stuffing turns super flavorful, too! As the turkey roasts, all those yummy juices drip down into the bread cubes, soaking in like little sponges. slurp slurp! The bread becomes soft, rich, and ten times more delicious than before!

Preparing the stuffing is also a great family project! You can help Mom tear up the bread, Dad can chop crunchy celery, and Grandma can sprinkle her secret spices. Then everyone works together to fill the turkey — it’s like playing a fun, tasty cooking game! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
